A Step Forward: New Beginnings to Offer Child Victim/Witness services program

New Beginnings to start offering the Child Victim/Witness (CVW) services program in Windsor-Essex.

After recieving a generous funding from the provincial government over a three-years period, we are excited and grateful to be offering the CVW program and adding it to the variety of programs and supports that our organization offers. 

Our team consists of a program coordinator and two child victim/witness specialists who are equipped with great knowledge, experience, and training in the field. Through the CVW program, we can provide court preparation and emotional support to children and youth who are victims or witnesses of crime and are required to testify in criminal court proceedings. The program also ensures that young people and their families understand the court process and feel supported, safe, and empowered throughout their involvement in the justice system.

We are proud to be one of fifteen communities offering this program in the province.
